Can Ellavator Ai Search the Web or Browse Links in Real Time?
No. Ellavator Ai does not currently search the live web or browse external links in real time. Ella does not click links, follow URLs, or pull in fresh information directly from the internet. Instead, Ella works only with the information that is intentionally provided inside the platform.
What Ellavator Ai Can Use
Ella can work with:
-
Files you upload to a conversation
-
Websites you explicitly crawl using the Crawl Website feature
-
Saved Work, Plays, and Brand Bot knowledge
-
Content added to Ella-ments or Brand Bot Add-Ons
-
Context from the current conversation
Once information is added this way, Ella can analyze it, reference it, and use it consistently across your work.
What Ellavator Ai Cannot Do
Ella cannot:
-
Search Google or other search engines
-
Open or follow external links
-
Pull in real-time news or live web updates
-
Browse pages you haven’t explicitly provided
If you paste a link into a conversation, Ella will not visit that link unless you crawl the site or upload the content yourself.
Why Ellavator Ai Works This Way
Ellavator Ai is designed to prioritize:
-
Accuracy and reliability
-
User-controlled inputs
-
Consistent, repeatable outputs
-
Clear boundaries around data sources
By relying only on content you intentionally provide, Ella avoids guessing, outdated information, or unexpected sources influencing your work.
How to Work with Web Content in Ellavator Ai
If you want Ella to use information from a website:
-
Use Crawl Website from the + menu in a conversation
-
Upload files or documents that contain the content you want analyzed
-
Add curated knowledge to your Brand Bot or Brand Bot Add-Ons
This gives you full control over what Ella uses and how it applies that information.
